Spotlight Samford recognized at the National College Media Convention

Two members of the Spotlight Samford news team packed their bags and headed to Louisville, Kentucky this past weekend for the 2010 National College Media Convention.


Jackie Long and Lauren Womack, members of the Spotlight Samford news team, spent the weekend attending educational workshops and media competitions, but also had the chance to explore the heart of downtown Louisville.


Spotlight Samford was named one of four finalists in the Best Radio Documentary competition for its story on Birmingham's NorthStar Youth Ministries soccer club (click below to listen).
